THE DIGITAKT FACTORY CONTENT

The Digitakt should contain the following factory content:

  • 64 factory SOUNDS (A sample linked from the +Drive, plus the SRC, FLTR, AMP, and LFO PARAMETER pages settings for the audio track.)

  • 400+ Factory SAMPLES (A 16 bit, 48 kHz, mono audio file.)

CHECK IF THE FACTORY CONTENT IS MISSING

  • Do you hear any sound when you play the preset project patterns? These patterns make use of factory content samples.

  • Do I have any Sounds?
Press [FUNC] + LEVEL/DATA to open the SOUND BROWSER. This menu shows a list of all Sounds in the +Drive Sound library. Turn the LEVEL/DATA knob or press [UP]/[DOWN] to scroll through the list.

  • Do I have any samples?
Press [GLOBAL SETTINGS], select SAMPLES, and then press [YES]. Use the [ARROW] keys to navigate to the folder called FACTORY and then press [YES]. Here you should find three folders, Drums, Synths, and Toolbox, that has several subfolders that contain the factory samples.

PERFORMING A FACTORY RESET TO RECOVER THE FACTORY CONTENT

If you can't find any Sounds or samples you can recover them by performing a factory reset in the SETTINGS menu.

Please note: When you perform a factory reset, it will overwrite and re-initialize the active RAM project (including all pattern and global data). The +Drive project slot 1 will be overwritten and re-initialized with factory preset patterns, sounds and settings. Sound bank A will be overwritten with the factory sounds. If you wish to keep the active project, remember to save it to a +Drive project slot higher than 1 before you perform a factory reset.

  1. To open the SETTINGS meny, hold down the [FUNC] key while powering up the Digitakt.

  2. Press the [TRIG 3] key to perform a factory reset.
